Well you've named two possible sources:
The sink
The water tank
1 1/2" aluminum flex hose is a bit of a mystery:
Too big for the gas line to the fridge or stove
Not needed for sink drain since it's not in a slide
Maybe the FW tank fill hose? They're usually flexible.
