We use bungie cords to tie the curtain out of the way.
I'm almost 6' so don't have the seat all the way back, the curtain does bother me if its not tied pretty tight.

You'll need the curtain if you ever camp in hot (90*) or cold (40*)

And cold must be relative.....we finally warmed up to 35 degrees today and saw so many people in shorts and t-shirts, it felt & looked like a warm spring day! (we've been in the 20's for I don't know how long, so 40 really sounds warm!) hahaha......
