The original holes were 3 inch X 8 inch I reduced them down by using aluminum cut to 2 3/8inch X 9 inch. I fasten these at the top back side of the original vent holes. By doing this it brings the holes down to 1 5/8 inch wide so the new sealed vent pieces fit snug.
