Look for furniture touch up sticks/pencil. They come in various colors so you can usually find one that works with your trim. For small nail holes I've used the grand kids crayons. If you warm them up a little they work in a little easier. Then I polish off any excess with a soft rag. Experiment in an area not normally seen. Good luck
