I figure I bought it to use and enjoy. No use for a bed though a big storage shelf sure is handy!
Certainly I get the theory that stopping anywhere between full up or down can inherently cause some out of sync, but hey, one thought is; if only lowering 1/4-1/3 ... it's shorter to go up to synchronize the motors
It will take more time to see if motors ever get out of sync enough to cause issue ...
