Last summer, as an experiment, I tried using FlexSeal on my rubber roof where it goes over the side of the rig and attaches to the wall. I was having a few leaks and it seemed to stop them since then. So I bought 2 more cans and plan to do the back half of the roof the first few days that there is no rain. I prep the area by cleaning it with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. They also make a mop with a Magic Eraser on it so you don't have to get on the roof. The Magic Eraser cleans the area well. Just let it dry and apply the Flex Seal. The Flex Seal sticks to the clean rubber roof very well. My RV is 16 years old so I don't mind experimenting with stuff like this.
