I was thinking that also, I was just trying it again and if I messed with the knob enough, pushing it down and relighting and moving it around it would stay lit. Could it be with the control valve under the knob, looks like there is a sensor next to the burner could it be that. once it stays lit it burns a perfect flame. I just don't know enough about gas stoves to diagnose the problem.
