I recently saw pictures of a new (at least to me) slide design innovation award in Europe that caught my attention. Apparent it involves Lippert obtaining rights from Opp XL for a slide system described as: “The Euro Slide was created to exhibit a sleeker automotive appearance and provide a secure watertight seal,”
The four corners of slide room appear to me more rounded than any other I've seen before and the seal more continuous than what I'm used to seeing except in typical car and SUV doors and tailgates. Corners don't appear to depend on typical overlapping straight sections to keep rain out like on most US slides. The four racks also seem a little more flush to walls so it may be easier to seal the entire room tighter.
Any thoughts or comments on this design? I have seen some luxury motorhomes with flush-mounted slides, but I don't recall seal details. I have to say that when in closed position this slide does look much sleeker than most US counterparts.
