Agree, perfectly normal. I installed a dual voltage monitor in a spare switch space because I like to monitor voltage on my house and chassis batteries (it’s actually pretty interesting). I can see the voltage drop on the chassis battery while starting and I can see exactly when the alternator connects to the house batteries a few moments after startup. The house batteries will go from 12 ish volts to 14.
