I pulled mine out. Needed to get to the connectors to add blue tooth headphones. There are screws holding the back wall plate to the structure. If I remember correctly, four. Unscrew them and have someone to hold the TV unless you are good at holding and removing the plate and TV at the same time. I did it alone. I did not disconnect the existing cables form the TV since I just wanted to add the blue tooth headphone hardware. Removing the TV from the plate is easy after that. The mount is not articulating. It is fixed.
