Practice making some beads on something else (not your RV) first because this stuff is not your typical forgiving house caulk. I would even suggest taping off either side of the bead location (the areas where you don’t want this Geocel caulk to get onto if you have a fat smoothing finger) even though taping is a PIA. I have found with tape though, I can get a bit of stringing occurring when it is removed.......but I would rather be early removing the taped edges, than wait too long. If you use tape practice the removal timing as well. Many folks have no issues using it, but I treat it with respect and do a smaller length bead of caulking at a time; finish it and move on to the next segment. It is very sticky caulk.
