Thanks for the great post, pics and information. By any chance did you find any identifying names or numbers on any of the parts? I agree that the face of the armature being uneven was key to this failure. I'm hoping you can find suitable brushes and get the motor back up and running. Always nice to have a spare. if you find a source for the brushes please post the information. Thanks again for your post and I hope it stops raining for you. We've got Louisiana weather headed our way for the coming week, 85 to 92 temps and rain everyday. I have to line up some inside jobs to keep me busy. Lol.
