Careful with "brighter bulbs" as they often just make a harsh light that blinds oncoming traffic without improving light output and visibility. With a 2004 likely the outside lens is clouded and yellowed especially if the RV has been stored outside. You can try to recondition the outside lens but the quick and easy solutions won't last. Since most are plastic, replacement will give the best results. If OEM is too costly, there likely are aftermarket versions at a fraction of Ford costs. But worth checking a Ford online store for quotes.
