I have the same Midland portable I use at home and in the last RV...
Only downside is it needs batteries (even if plugged in) - and batteries don't seem to last long if not plugged in.

2014 Hurricane with the Jensen RV210t (the infamous screen blanking model) has weather band built in - with ability to turn on for all alerts or filtered by SAME codes... and active anytime the coach is in use (Coach battery in 'USE')
I normally just leave it to broadcast all - but had to enter the SAME codes this trip as there were just too many alerts in counties south of me overnight this winter... and I wanted to sleep unless it was closer.
(Entered codes for my county - and one county west - where all the bad stuff was coming from that I cared about...)

I'd assume other coach radios would have the same feature - but you know what happens when one assumes....
