You didn't say what year your Outlaw is. From about 2014 to 2018 Trimark (the lock manufacturer Thor uses) made locks with potmetal latches that eventually break and make it impossible to retract the latch. There are dozens of threads on this forum alone that start just like yours does. You need to get inside the coach and disassemble the lock assembly to get the door open. Some have had to pry the door open bending it in the process to get inside if no other entry means (window) are available. Those that have the trouble prone lock that haven't replaced it always leave an access window unlocked in case it does happen.
