I don’t know your coach, but if your side moldings are similar to the roof edge molding you could try to fasten the start end (reversed and trimmed) of the new molding under the top track screw and add a screw externally at the bottom end of the new molding. Caulk with Dicor non sagging lap sealant or similar as required at both ends to seal. A u-tube video is attached to show what someone did for his roof edge molding install. At least it "might" help retain the new moldings for you a little longer.
