The real $$$ should be spent on the much-needed suspension mods it takes to make these RUV's safe, i.e. Hellwig, Sumo, Bilsteins, steering stabilizer, +5 Caster etc... And, in my case, I also added airbags in the rear, and new Goodyear Commercial rated sneakers all around. NOW, it's safe (and fun) to drive.
We have the Firestone 2219 air system with front and rear bags/ hellwig front and rear sway bars. Handles just fine.. joke of an air cleaner/ another that hasn’t done there homework. ASE mechanic?
