Replacing roof mounted radio antenna

Hi all, I haven't posted much lately so forgive me if I haven't followed the protocol. I have a 2014 Hurricane 34E. The radio antenna has come off at the base. The base is also damaged and I don't think it is salvageable. I do most of the repair work on my RV, but getting at the antenna base which is mounted on the front cowling looks like a big job from the inside. I'm wondering if anyone has had to do this on one of their RV's. There are several panels above the windshield which the curtain track and the dash fans are mounted to. Thanks in advance,
Vince
