Outside
Generator will start 100% from switch on generator. Light blinking or not. It runs and powers as advertised. I have run for extended periods without issue.

From inside
If the light is blinking, I get nothing from panel (doesn’t attempt to start)
If the light is not blinking, it starts no issues.

If the light is blinking and the RV is started outside, I can turn it off from inside and then it will restart 1 time from inside (regardless of where it is turned off)

I serviced the generator a couple months ago (oil/air) hoping this would stop the blinking but it didn’t work.

Camping World (I understand most folks opinion of CW but they are 10 minutes from my house) can not diagnose the problem. They are guessing a voltage issue.

Good news is the generator runs great and it’s just an inconvenience to have to go outside to start it, but I shouldn’t have to. Any ideas of something I can check myself. I have a volt/amp meter and a basic understanding of electrical work.

Code 3 - Service Check

When you see this code, it indicates that there is a problem somewhere on your Onan generator. You will get 3 flashes then a pause, then 3 flashes, then a pause and on it goes till you press the button to get the secondary code.
The secondary code will give you the specific problem that is wrong with your generator
