I saw your earlier post and was going to do the same mod but then saw that someone else suggested just opening the low point drains and any faucet. As the lines drain so will the tank. And, at least in my case, the water inlet line is “lower” in the tank than the drain plug so you get more water out. And it leaves the nylon plug for easy removal when you want to use a wand to flush sediment.
