I dulled the teeth on the claws so not to chew up the hose connection.

Had to replace drain and basket assembles (2) in MH kitchen sink. Nothing worked on the frozen brass nuts until I pulled out my oil filter wrench like yours. Left it in my motor home and bought a new one for my home tool box.
