I think any good quality biodegradable waste breakdown cleaner will work if used properly and all the time. I have used Thetford for Day 1, it works, I always buy on sale and in volume, I have 3 other cassette porti pottis made by Thetford for boat and for tent camping. There really could be better products than Thor, but I will never know, because I have no reason to change.
I think our gray tank is forever clean because my DW will literally squirt the dishwashing liquid directly in the sink just because she may have seen me poor a little hot beer or remnants of coke in the sink
Throw in excessive hand washing and our gray tank is technically being cleaned 24/7 when we are using it.
