Having had both kinds of doors in my 2014 Vegas and 2016 Axis, I see no reason why you could not replace the old doors with the new ones. They look to be exactly the same width and height. Instead of being hinged in the middle, they are separately hinged and hung separately. The only difference is no longer have the bathroom open to the bedroom and you have access to the closet in the new configuration. The new doors are much narrower and lighter, so you would have to replace the old ones. But I don't see any reason why it would not be relatively easy to take out the old ones and install the new kind.
