My KY has a muffler and 9 ft long 7/8" exhaust pipe. The cell phone shows 60 db at 10 ft outside. Its noise doesn't bother us when watching TV or listening to the radio and it is directly under the reclining love seat. I can't hear or feel the KY in the bedroom.
