I shut down the last thread. It had a good run until it devolved into name-calling. A non-Site Team member tried to warn other members it was going in the wrong direction but the problem persisted and became personal between members - that was the straw that broke the camel's back.

We appreciate good lively discussion in the bounds of the forum rules but blatant political division, name calling, and personal attacks will not be tolerated.

Be thankful the thread was just closed. It could have been closed and the offending members given a forum vacation for a while. Hopefully we can stay on track in the future.
