We stayed at a HH participating winery in March but as PPA campers at $10 a night, not HH members. They had about a dozen RV sites with water and electric (they were still putting in sewer). They weren't doing tours but we had free run of the grounds. They did have an evening wine tasting, my wife participated, I did not as I don't drink alcohol any longer, but I did attend. They had fruit, cheese and crackers and probably a dozen different wines offered to taste in good size samples. Cost to participate was $5 and, of course, all the tasted wines were available for purchase, at very reasonable prices I might add. Most campers attended the event but a few did not.
I thought it was a great economical, no-pressure, camping experience and we will return if traveling through the area again.
