Well they did it to me again. Went to buy a new Blu Ray player and my wife convinced the store to throw in an LG 55 inch 3D 4K UHD OLED curved TV and LG 4.1 sound bar system for free. Those true 4K Blu Ray players are expensive.
Since the primary person involved in this effort was the DW (thinks the curved TV looks "sexy") I now have to do something with my 46 inch Sharp Aquos LED HDTV, with which I was perfectly happy. My wife suggested a donation to charity, however, with trusty tape measure in hand I walked out to the coach and determined that although it will be a tight fit it looks like the living area SEIKI TV will be replaced with a QAM compatible Sharp. This may however necessitate the replacement of the Vizio sound bar with an LG low profile sound bar so the television's controls are not partially hidden.
Since the new television will be delivered in a couple of weeks I will start this effort after our trip planned for the following weekend. The things I do to keep DW happy.
