One option is a Tempurpedic foam. They make several versions and a regular queen can be cut down with a long filet or electric carving knife. They are $$$ though.
On the Omni we initially put an egg crate foam topper on it to help. It was one that the GF had previously ordered from amazon to make pads for her 5th wheel bunkhouse. It was a laminate and memory foam top layer, 3" think. She reordered the same thing but what came was a NON memory foam laminate. It was comfortable but very hot, heat retaining. Unfortunately we had cut it to size so couldn't return it. Don't know if the switch wasn't an amazon switcheroo , mistake, or what. At any rate the stock mattress is actually OK for the time being but I suspect it will collapse sooner than later. I'll then look at replacements.
