Contacting Thor directly for warranty work will most likely get you an email, eventually, directing you to take it to your dealer for verification regardless of how many pictures you may have sent.
As stated if it's something you can fix you're better off doing so rather than have the coach sit at the dealer for months to fix a 15 minute issue.
If you can't do it yourself take to them, have them verify & submit to Thor, giving you a copy of what they submit, then schedule a time with the service department to bring it back once the parts & anything else needed for the repairs are on hand & give them a time limit to get it done.
