Winterizing

We live in Prescott Valley, AZ...it gets down to about 20 deg during winter and even snowed 22" last year THE DAY AFTER I BROUGHT OUR RV HOME when we bought it...I was out on a ladder sweeping snow off the roof because I was afraid it would collapse....I have never heard of winterizing an RV till a neighbor asked me a few weeks later after the snow melted, if I had it winterized? I said I don't know what that is....now that I do know I am going to have it done as the temps are starting to dip below freezing. The next time I know it is going to snow I am going to take our RV down to Phoenix to my FIL's house where it does not snow. Question is....will I be able to drive it while it is winterized because we also have a trip planned to go to a lake outside Phoenix Dec 28-30th just to do some hiking and fishing.....will I be OK to drive it after being winterized?
