That tray should physically connect to that hole in the back with a spout or have a short section of hose going to it. The hole leads to a flexible corrugated style hose that should have a check valve on the end and that hose end sticking out of one of the slots on the side removable refer cover. That allows the condensation off the fins to drip outside on the ground, not inside the RV. Typical absorbent refer setup. I did have an Itasca motorhome with the Norcold 1200 which plumbed that condensation tube down to the underside of the slide corner. Usually though straight out the side.
