Good post....
Like most things worth enjoying fuel is just got part of the cost of having fun. Between the coach and the Wrangler, we put on over 15,000 miles this season and over $5000 in fuel and have no regrets. Last year it took me ~$100 in Diesel to fill up the Magnitude and this year it cost ~$200 but I have no complaints.
It's all about the smiles during the miles....
