So I assume you're keeping the house batteries at home on a trickle charger? If you insulate the coach house battery positive (+) terminal with electrical tape - or any good non-conductive material, you should be okay.

If you don't plug the coach into shore power in storage, the ATS doesn't even enter the picture. But even if you did (or ran your generator while driving), you wouldn't hurt anything. Same for your coach alternator. It's like leaving your phone charger wall-wart plugged into the wall with no phone attached.
