Got ours back from the shop on Thursday. The modification made to the slide seems to have worked. Relocating the rollers to under the bed makes it go out and in smoother - no dragging on the floor like it originally did. Relocating the controller will help in the future too - if troubleshooting or adjustments are needed.

The SCHWINTEK IN-WALL SLIDE system was completely replaced - they were going to replace pieces but I pushed to have the whole unit replaced. There had been extensive damage to the front gear rails, drive gears.

If the crossroads forum opens again I'll post an update there too.

We had water damage too so they had to replace the slide fiberglass - both sides and the bottom. The slide was not sealed correctly at the factory.

The build date on the unit was 8/17/2011. Not sure when CrossRoads discovered the design error and started making the units with the rollers under the bed and the controller located in the storage compartment next to the Intillijack controller.

The only problem was we missed the fall camping season because it was in the shop from 9/10 to 11/1.

Just winterized it yesterday. Hopefully next years camping season goes better - planning a trip to Myrtle Beach in the spring and Yellowstone and Glacier in the summer.
