Oh my goodness! I can't imagine doing that! Seems like a terrible waste of fuel. But I guess it worked for him.

We've just begun looking for a dinghy, and I love the look of the VW Beetles. The one I found (upon further research) seems WAY over-priced, so not too sure whether we could work things out with the seller even if it turns out to be safely flat towable.
