You can always winterize it and still use it to travel. Just don't use the water/plumbing system(shower/sinks) with the onboard water tank or city water lines. You can take along bottled water to pour into the toilet when it is used and bottled water to drink/wash with. Once you get it back home you just have to pour some pink rv antifreeze back into the drains(sinks/shower) to fill the traps and then drain/flush out the black/grey tanks. I would also pour some pink r v anti freeze into the black and grey tanks when it is sitting. I would also look underneath to see if any of the plumbing lines are exposed to the outside and cover/wrap them with insulation for protection. I did wrap my black sewer lines for winter travel protection.
