Both A/C units go bad at the same time? What are the odds?

On our old 2006 Gulfstream the A/C start capacitor went bad. My neighbor is an HVAC tech for the local hospital he changed out the capacitor and added a piercing valve to the low side tubing then added a bit of freon. When he was done you could hang meat in a 10-year-old motorhome.
Most RV repair shops will only remove and replace the A/C as the roof top units on most of today's RVs are a sealed system, but a knowledgeable tech can add a bit of juice to improve performance.
