I recommend using a dry lube, such as a PTFE spray... the same thing you use on your slide (before Thor stopped recommending Schwintek lubing).
Look underneath... is there a continuous bar running horizontally across the rear with the stabilizers/motors mounted on the ends? If so, it's the same as I have. I don't use mine now... I installed the Big Foot levelers.
I know the clicking noise you're talking about. Mine were very noisy from day one - it's the nature of those high RPM motor/gear assemblies to generate torque. Even with regular thorough lube, one of mine always made a loud clicking noise that seemed coordinated with the worm gear revolution. I've heard it on other RVs at campgrounds too.
I eventuality just ignored it. They seemed to work just fine. Soak them with the PTFE dry lube and scratch it off your worry list.
Oh... for winter storage I spray them with a good coat of WD-40... not for lube, but to fend off rust.
