New owner of a Tranquility 19L. Really like this van, but honestly these awnings are POS. While doing our walkthrough, the awning got stuck in the extended position. LaMesa had a tech come and spray some silicone on the elbows, massage it around and it retracted, although making a grinding noise. Of course, the tech said that was normal. When home tried out the awning and failed to retract on first attempt. Had to use the provided hand crank and successfully got it back in after an hour long struggle. Now, when trying to extend the motor spins and doesn’t engage. If it can’t resolve the issue I’ll get a manual crank awni
ng. Again no call from LaMesa. These awnings are no longer made in Sweden. Chinese all the way.
