Would greatly appreciate any positive thoughts or prayers for our much loved Lucy from anyone who may read this. She's at the Auburn Vetenary hospital now being treated for an autoimmune disease being a possible cause for critically anemic. Her red blood cell count was only 13 when checked today (normal count in dogs is 35-55). She hasn't been eating well and very lethargic over the past 10 days or so and has been at our regular vet clinic numerous times during this time. This was discovered after doing some additional blood work today.
She's being monitored 24/7 and anticipate a week to 10 day hospital stay. We get to visit her during this time and will be down there tomorrow to check on her. About a 45 minute drive.
