I know very well of the same issue but it wasn't related to weight.

If you trust him, he will suggest the best trailer tires he can warrant.
The dealer is an aligment center that only does medium duty, big rigs, busses and motorhomes. and above. He doesn't sell tires. One of the smartest guys on alignment, load, suspension, and such I've ever met. Crazy busy and booked out about a month. When I had my rig in there he was aligning 4x6 BLM Wild Fire Trucks.

He thought I could drive these tires safely for another year possibly more. I am going to drive these for at least another year.
