Sure. I’ve done it for years. I don’t turn off for fueling either. I have in mind to connect it to my inverter with a $50 ATS so it’ll run on the battery while driving and shore power when plugged in but still letting me switch to propane when I want. It’s not much about safety, just a preference not to use up my propane. That said, I’ve not bothered with this simple project in the two and a half years I’ve had my coach.
