I’ve had similar issues with the blinking - a good whack on the dash usually solves it in the short term. For a long term fix, I removed my doghouse to gain access under the radio. There is a yellow RCA connector that is the video input to the radio. It seems to want to work loose so I pinched it so it would mate tighter and don’t have the “flickering” any longer.

Thanks Jim, very helpful. I may take a looksee in the doghouse when wife isn't around, so I don't end up sleeping there later on.
