The threads explain the engine cover part. Remove the heat shielding, apply Kilmat or Dynamat, then replace the heat shielding... lest ye melt the Dynamat...

Then do the floor as detailed in the threads. Use those as tutorials for anywhere else you wish to apply sound deadening foam.

It's why premium $$$$ coaches put carpet lining in their storage bins.

As a bonus, read up on sound resonance... it will help you determine the most effective areas to insulate.
