on mine there is a dash cover over the radio and gauges, it is only held on by 4 screws across the back, take them out lift up top part of dash and there is all wiring and the back side of the radio. That way you can tell if everything is hooked up with out the risk of pulling any wires about while pulling the radio out the front then have to worry about sliding it back in without cutting any wires.
