Likely moot for your decisions now. But our Axerra that kept turning off turned out to be the plug in the back. Its wires were gathered and zip tied so tightly, that it put a strain on a good connection for the wires at the extreme ends of the plug, which turned out to be the power and ground wires to the radio.
edit in: and I was dealing with the problem for 3 years! Trying alternatives for the back up camera, like adding the Garmin (made for RV's to program in length & height), and installing a second back-up camera to the rig off the Garmin. A boombox Sirrius radio, antenna, and plugging in to the inverter entertainment outlet on the road, while entertaining the replacement of it and finally pulling the dash (I was intimidated, but did not buy another radio).
LOL
