Odd generator problem
Started generator and it ran normally for about one minute and then shut down. Undetected problem was that the main (engine) fuel line was damaged by rodent—engine wouldn’t start. Replaced fuel line (yuk) and engine was good. Attempted to start genny but it would neither prime nor start—turned over OK. Held prime button down for some two minutes and the ticking continued but would not “fill”—stop. Wondering about a system “air lock” preventing prime—no fuel reaching engine. Fuel tank is 2/3 full. Thanks for any thoughts on this oddity.
