I even asked our dealer about the step recall and they said: You are not part of the step recall.
Well guess what: Two weeks ago it was in the 90s (during our tailgating of my sons baseball games) and what do you know:
Talked to the dealer about this today and they told me: "Send some pictures so we can order the kit and we will get it fixed once the kit comes in" (also asked Thor about it since someone told me that we were good back in '14 and they said:

I'm pleased that my dealer just asked for pics instead of asking for me to bring the unit in and make me leave it there while the kit is on order.
If you have a 2014 or 2015 Vegas/Axis unit and haven't had the top step looked at or the recall performed you may want to inquire about that...
