I just looked at mine closely. The screws are hitting either the jamb or the edge of the door.

Screws need to be FLUSH to the hinges or you will have "hinge bind".

These hinges don't have any space when closed like standard hinges. Once the screws are flush if there is some binding then place a 1/16" by 1/4" and the height of the single half of the hinge behind it closest to the hinge pivot. This will place the hinge with a bit of an angle.

Personally I have no problem with a small about of bind.
