Cold Water Line Check Valve Failure

Had less than 1/3 of a tank of fresh water. We are camped and hooked to power and city water. Checked my gray & black tanks. Also pressed the sensor button for the fresh. I expected the fresh to read empty but the light came on for full. Thought the sensor was acting up.

Went outside about 10 min later and water was pouring out the cap and overflow on the fresh water fill.

Looks like the cold water check valve where the strainer is or the water pump failed allowing city water to back flow through valve and line coming out of the fresh water tank to the pump.

I closed the valve on the line coming out of the tank and opened the drain on the tank to drain the water.

One more warranty entry on my list for the dealer next week.
